Villa Le Molina, with an area of over 2200 square meters, is surrounded by a secular park of 10 hectares, is located near San Giuliano Terme (Pisa).
The project and construction of Villa Le Molina date back to the second half of the 16th century. Prestigious residence of the noble Agliata family, in 1840 the Villa became property of the Corsini Princes and later of the Pozzo di Borgo.
Its current architectural configuration is due to the important interventions of the 18th century: the central body, adorned with a five-arched loggia of Tuscan order, was joined by two side wings that form a large courtyard, closed towards the park by an imposing gate.
The internal structure and decorations are characterized by architectural trompe-l’oeil textures; the frescoes of the Villa and the external ones of the loggia were executed by famous artists such as Ademollo.
